Fast forward to the end of the lesson; there was an increase in the Jewish population between 1933 and 1948. If 6 million of them died, 6 million would have to be born to maintain the statistics.
This is very unlikely, that 6 million died, and the remaining 9 million had 6 million children on camps where they were sent to be exterminated.
Not to mention the millions of Jews that migrated west? Or those who escaped Germany only to end up on the Gulag? Millions of people perished on the Soviet labor camps, for the same reason they did in the German camps: due to famine, disease and mistreatment. Many of the victims were Jews.
What further stirs up the numbers is that after the war, there was over 5 million "survivors" that received reparations as victims of these said atrocities, that never took place.
